so today we learn about DNA and RNA so we have to write everything that about dna and rna and me and my buddy were working.DNA contains the sugar deoxyribose, while RNA contains the sugar ribose. ... DNA is a double-stranded molecule while RNA is a single-stranded molecule. DNA is stable under alkaline conditions while RNA is not stable.and they also help us from sick and remember to keep yourself in a happy and dont get sick
I am a Year 8 learner in Room 5 at Pt England School in Auckland, NZ. My teacher is Mrs Ilaoa.

genomics and cell

Welcome to my blog and so today i am gonna tell you what we doing to.And so today we were talking about genomics and cells so we have to watch the movie and after we watch we have to name all the things that in the cell and we have to write any fact about organelles. So organelles An organelle is a specialised cellular structure in Eukaryota cells analogous to an organ in the body. ... Examples of organelles are lysosomes, nucleus , mitochondria , and the cytoplasmic curriculum .and that what we learning today

can you hear that my task
so today we are gonna read the book about
can you hear that ?
what is amplitude mean ?
what is amplitude mean ? amplitude are expressed either as instantaneous values or mostly as peak values and if you listen to anything that means it is so loud and like a animal. Also animal they can make a sound and also if the cow is angry because if we still there milk they starting to make a sound and it so loud. And it good if you listen and you can remember what your friend talk to and ask to you so that the mean of the amplitude
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
what is a frequency mean ?
frequency is the number of complete cycles per second in alternating current direction. The standard unit of frequency is the hertz,Frequency is how often an event repeats itself over a set amount of time. In physics, the frequency of a wave is the number of wave crests that pass a point in one second (A wave crest is the peak of the wave). Hertz (symbol Hz) is the unit of frequency.

what is wavelength mean ?
Wavelength and frequency. Light is measured by its wavelength (in nano-meters) or frequency (in Hertz). One wavelength. equals the distance between two successive wave crests or troughs. Lesson Summary
Waves are described and measured by five wave parameters: the period, the frequency, the amplitude, the wavelength, and the speed.Wavelength is the distance between two identical adjacent points in a wave. It is typically measured between two easily identifiable points, such as two adjacent crests or troughs in a waveform.

De-extinction writing
so today we learning about the DE-extinction and this is for writing and we have to find an animal that we want to bring back and we hope the science will bring back and my animal is great auk this animal it easy The extinction of The Great Auk. Audubon would paint the Great Auk but by 1844 the last bird would be extinct. ... By the mid-16th century, the nesting colonies along the European side of the Atlantic were nearly all eliminated by humans killing this bird for its down, which was used to make pillows. so that what we learning for today

LEPISI Zebra fish task
I never see a fish like this wow!
Studying zebra-fish
This is a happy zebra-fish. Zebra-fish are omnivorous, primarily eating zooplankton, insects and insect larvae, although they can eat a variety of other foods, such as worms and small crustaceans, if their preferred food sources are not readily available.
So today we are studying about the zebra-fish. The Zebra-fish have 25 chromosomes and their genome consists of about 1.5 x 10 billion base pairs, compared with mammalian genome sizes of about 3 x 10 billion base pairs. The zebra-fish (Dario rioter) is a freshwater fish belonging to the minnow family (Cyprian) of the order Cruciforms. Native to South Asia, it is a popular aquarium fish, frequently sold under the trade name zebra Danial (and thus often called a "tropical fish" although both tropical and subtropical). And that is our learning for today

the past beneath our feet
we learn about the past beneath our feet, This is a profile of Maori archaeologist Atholl Anderson, which looks at his work, the methods he uses, and the importance of his field. It includes text boxes and quotes that contextualise his work (for example, explaining who the first ancestors were, where they came from, and what their society was like). so that is my work for literacy
